Osus Al Mohammadia, operating under the supervision of Shahzeb Mahmood Trunkwala, has been actively involved in the construction and heavy truck logistics services in Saudi Arabia since 2013. History of World Group

1912

The Trunkwala Family establishes a trunk-manufacturing company, Haji Abubakar Haji Ilyas & Sons, in Karachi, Pakistan.

1937

Late Haji Abdul Rahim Trunkwala expands the business into commodity import and export, becoming one of the few license holders in the country.

1973

Mr. Mehmood Trunkwala founds International Motors, becoming an importer of various vehicles and establishing a partnership with NISSAN.

1985

The World Group opens a showroom and a 3S dealership at Shahrah-e-Faisal Karachi, marking a significant milestone and expanding its presence in the automotive industry.

1989

The World Group sets up a spinning mill in Raiwind, Lahore, and participates in the Yellow Cab Scheme, leading to increased vehicle imports and the development of spare parts and maintenance markets.

1996

The World Group achieves the highest sales award through the local assembly of Nissan cars.

2000s

The World Group expands its collaborations to include Daewoo Korea, SsangYong Korea, Ursus Poland, and IFFCO UAE, introducing new car models and importing cooking oil and confectionery items.

Recent Years

The World Group shifts its focus to real estate development, launching milestone projects such as ASF Airport Residencia, Acacia Country & Golf Club, and World Academy.

2017

The World Group acquires Leisure League, becoming the world's largest organization for amateur 5, 6, and 7-a-side football and promoting football in Pakistan.

Present

The World Group maintains diverse interests in various business sectors globally, with a focus on automobiles, real estate development, education, manufacturing, trading, golf, high-tech industries, and financial investments.

Present

Under the supervision of Shahzeb Mahmood Trunkwala, Osus Al Mohammadia, a subsidiary of the World Group, has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 2013. Currently, Osus Al Mohammadia is working on a significant project with Al Afaq Developers in Jeddah, providing MEP and electrical installation services for multiple residential complexes.
